Calgary - Kananaskis Village
Pick up rental car at Calgary’s airport
Drive to Kananaskis Village (about 115 km/1 ½ hrs)
Relaxed evening in Kananaskis Village

You will pick up your rental car at the airport in Calgary. On the ensuing drive to Kananaskis Village over the Trans Canada Highway, the surroundings will already show its most beautiful side. The rest of the evening is at your leisure.

Kananaskis Village - Mt. Kidd Golf Course
9 a.m. tee-off at the Mount Kidd Golf Course
Afternoon at your leisure
Options: walling, rafting, horseback riding, sightseeing tours, stroll in the village

Today our Canadian golf adventure starts for real. Mount Kidd Golf Course is less than 10 minutes from your accommodation. Tee-off is at 9 a.m. After your game you have the opportunity to experience Kananaskis Park’s natural beauty at your leisure.

Kananasiks Village - Mt. Lorette Golf Course
9 a.m. tee-off at Mount Lorette Golf Course
Afternoon at your leisure
Options: walling, rafting, horseback riding, sightseeing tours, stroll in the village

Today looks a lot like the day before, as Mount Lorette Golf Course and Mount Kidd Golf Course are adjacent. In midst of these unique mountain vistas it is a must to play both courses. Tee time is 9 a.m. Plan your afternoon at your leisure, considering all the available outdoor activities offered.

Golden - Banff und Yoho National Park
Drive from Kananaskis Village to Golden (about 220 km/ 3 ¼ hrs)

Evening at Kicking Horse Ski Resort

The drive from Kananaskis Village to Golden will lead you right through the Rocky Mountains. This spectacular mountains offer many photo opportunities. There are also short walks and interesting stops at Chateau Lake Louise or the Spiral Tunnels. You will reach Golden late afternoon. From there it takes only 15 minutes driving to the Kicking Horse Ski Area

9 a.m. tee-off at the Golden Golf and Country Club
Drive back to Kicking Horse Ski Village
Options: gondola to Eagle Eye Restaurant, watch bears

From your accommodation, you’ll go down into the valley. The Golden Golf Course is situated on the banks of the Columbia River. Tee-time is 9 a.m. After the game we ascend again to the Ski Area. Apart of the “usual” outdoor activities, two more should be mentioned: you could have dinner at the Eagle Eye Restaurant, taking the gondola to a height of 2.300 m above sea level; you can also visit the large grizzly reserve and spot some bears.

Golden - Panorama - Fairmnont Hot Springs
Drive from Golden to Fairmont Hot Springs (about 180 km/2 h 45 m)
1 p.m. tee-off at Greywolf Golf Course
Drive to Fairmont Hot Springs

Don’t put your golf equipment to far away. The distance between Golden and Panorama Village is about 150 km (2 ¼ hrs). Your tee time is at 1 p.m. on the fantastic Greywolf Golf Course. Afterwards you drive to the Fairmont Hot Springs (about 45 km/50 min). This resort is known on the one hand for its splendid golf courses, on the other hand for the relaxing sulphur (yet scent-free) waters.

The Fairmont Hot Springs Resort offers a variety of activities and possibilities to relax. Your tee time at the Riverside Golf Course is at 9 a.m. After your game, you can again enjoy the afternoon at your leisure.

The drive to Banff brings you back to the Rockies. In Kootenay National Pak short walks will take you to interesting spots such as Paint Pot or Valley View Trail. Johnston Canyon is worth seeing Banff National Park, you shouldn’t miss it.

The Stanley Thompson Golf Course is today’s absolute highlight. Tee-time is at 9 a.m. After your game you can have a tour of the Banff Springs Hotel. With its many shops, Banff is made to stroll through.

Drive to Canmore (about 25 km/20 min)
9 a.m. tee-off at Stewart Creek Golf Course
Drive back to Banff
Stroll in Banff

It is only a short drive from Banff to Canmore. By now the unique mountain panorama has become familiar. Stewart Creek Golf Course constitutes another must play in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. You tee-time is at 9 a.m. After your game, you head back to Banff.

Leaving the Rocky Mountains, we head to the prairie city of Calgary. Depending on the flight arrangements, there is some time left to take a city tour. Filled with all these impressions, you drive to the Calgary airport and return your rental car.
